Dish Soap

This is an area where it can be a particularly good idea to invest in making some natural cleaning products. After all cutlery, plates and cooking utensils all come into close contact with our food.

Even when they have been well rinsed off and dried, some remnants of the harsh chemicals found in commercial dish soap can still remain – and that can be bad news for you and your family.

So here is a nice simple recipe to make your own!

1-teaspoon kosher salt, half cup white wine vinegar, half teaspoon lemon juice, quarter cup of Environmentally safe soap suds (Dr Bronner is a trusted brand to use here).

Take all the ingredients and combine with about a quarter cup of warm, distilled water. Keep it in an old water bottle – or even a recycled dish soap bottle.
